May 2011 | Milus opens shop in Shanghai
Milus is set to achieve considerable growth in the next 5 years, as it expands in Asia which is the growth engine of every luxury brands in the world today. China in particular is the one market that has given the best financial performance of all regions across the world to every single luxury house from watches to fashion to wine. This is the market that will underpin the growth strategy at Milus.
Milus’ first flagship store in China was opened in early May 2011 in the most sought-after of luxury retail boulevards for watches in Shanghai – the prestigious Nanjing Road West, home to all the world-renowned luxurious watch brands. Nanjing Road West is the Rodeo Drive and Bond Street of Shanghai. Only brands meeting the criteria established by the Shanghai authorities can be accepted as tenants of Nanjing Road West.
On the drawing board, other shops and points of sales are scheduled to be opened across mainland China and HK, as well as other parts of Asia in the near future.

Milus proudly presents the classic version of its famous Herios TriRetrograde watch: the original square form has thus been reworked to give it a gentleness that is reflected in its many curves, both on the flanks as well as in its profile. The horns appear to integrate into the case only to come out again, like an extension, on the level of the crown protection, giving the overall item a harmonious and delicate cohesion. The glass with double radius of curvature, assembled at the same level as the bezel, gives the whole item the roundness of a runner long polished by the sea, a roundness that is also found on the back cover of the case for improved comfort in contact with the wrist.
